Chair side manner is unparalleled, she called me in the p.m. after my prep for veneers just to check on me. I couldn't believe it! Makes self available for emergencies on weekends and works you in during the day too if needed. Definite recommend for complete dental care. Very gentle hygenists. Love my new smile. Chairs super comfy, love the bose headsets & music options. Cost very reasonable, great help dealing with insurance. I've had zoom, whitening trays, veneers, crowns, cleaning. I used to dread going to the dentist and now I look forward to it because I know I am in great hands not only by Dr. Griffin, but the whole staff. I really feel like they care about me!
About Hygienist: My hygenist Michelle is the most gentle I've ever had. My teeth feel clean when I leave, but never sore like they used to from my old hygenist. She is great!

I have known Shannon since she was a student at the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry. I began going to the dental college for dental needs in 1995 when my family dentist suggested I go there for a treatment that he did not do in his office. Shannon is the student who was assigned to me. I found her to be extremely pleasant, every time I went in. She has always acted very caring and very concerned with her patients. When she left the dental college, I followed her into her private practice. Even though I pay for a dentist in private practice than I would at the college, I always look forward to seeing Shannon and the rest of her staff for that matter. Everyone is very caring, compassionate, and helpful in any way they can. I would very strongly encourage you to give Dr. Griffin a try. I was looking for a dentist closer to my home with state-of-the-art technology and a professional, up-to-date facility. I found all of this with Dr. Griffin. All the staff members seem to be well trained and very friendly. Dr. Griffin was awesome. I am pleased with my selection of her as my dentist so far. The cost was about $600 for the initial first vist with exam, x-rays and cleaning, My out of pocket portion was about $100.
About Hygienist: Excellent care and very friendly. More thorough that any hygienist I have had in the past.

dr.griffin is great! she is kind, gentle, humble and empathetic. i moved to okc 5 years ago and visited at least 3 different dentists before i tried dr. griffin and fell in love with her staff and their service. i have only had routine cleanings and one or two fillings. i drive all the way from bethany to edmond to see her. the staff learned my name and made a personal connection with me on my first visit and everyone has remembered me ever since then. they are right when they say its no ordinary dental office. you WILL have fun when you go see these ladies!

In the past 7 years, I have had routine care, plus fillings, extractions, and crowns. Every experience has been absolutely positive!! I used to be a "white knuckle" dental patient, but not since I met Dr. Griffin and her skilled team. Patient well-being and comfort is top priority and I know that every time I'm in the chair. My family switched to Dr. Griffin's office about 2 years ago. We were faithful patients of another General Dentist in South OKC for years. After our former dentist rejected our requests for cosmetic dentistry, we began looking for another dentist. Dr. Griffin was highly recommended to me by a co-worker of mine. Dr. Griffin and her staff are incredible!!! I stumbled upon her office ~3 years ago after switching between multiple dentists in the area, trying to find that perfect dentist. Well now I found the perfect dentist, and it's Dr. Griffin. She and her staff are so friendly and truly care about you and your dental health. I highly recommend all of their services. Dr. Griffin helped me throughout my struggle with TMJ, including surgery as an adult. She evaluated my jaw/bite in an effort to help me prior to the surgery, and when surgery became necessary, she recommended both my orthodontist and oral surgeon (who in themselves were also awesome). I have also had cavities filled by Dr. Griffin, teeth whitening, and of course my bi-annual exams/cleanings, all of which went wonderfully. I even got my husband to go Dr. Griffin, and he has continued to maintain his oral check-ups every 6 months (without me having to twist his arm). If you go to any other dentist, you're not getting the best. Dr. Griffin and her staff are absolutely the BEST you will find!!! They have tons of experience, and I would recommend her office to anyone, no matter what treatment you may be needing. In fact, I have referred all of my friends.

My wife and I found Dr. Griffin after a series of unpleasant experiences with another Edmond dentist whom we (along with our children) had been seeing for a number of years. Dr. Griffin and her staff have always been exemplary in the way they interact with us and have always done the highest quality work. We have had crowns, caps, cavities, routine cleaning and bite blocks, they always go the extra mile to do quality work. On the rare occasion when something might not work out as planned, the situation is always quickly and efficiently rectified to full customer satisfacton. I came to see her after years of fearing and avoiding dentists and now I LOVE going to see her and her staff regularly, and best of all my teeth are now healthy!Before seeing Dr. Griffin I was very apprehensive about having any dental work done. Dr. Griffin is not only an incredible addition to her profession, she has an incredible relationship with her patients. I have really had minimal dental issues until one day my dentist told me I needed a root canal. I went to Dr. Griffin for a second opinion and have never been to another dentist! While I have only been a patient of Dr. Griffin's for a little under a year now, I have had numerous visits. Between my horrible oral genetics and my resistance to seek medical attention because of the pain, I let my teeth and gums go too long without proper care. The result was several teeth being removed, a root canal, multiple fillings and crowns and finally the need for a few dental implants. I say all of this, because if I had known about Dr. Griffin or found a previous dentist even half as caring, I wouldn't be in the shape I let myself get into. It's awkward to call her Dr. because she seems like an old friend, but yet, she is extremely professional in her practice and patient care that you feel bad if you didn't address her as doctor. She is the first dentist that I've ever had who will actually call and follow up after hours to check on your status following a procedure. That's caring about your patient and it goes above and beyond the call of duty. Her staff is an extension of her; professional, polite and compassionate about the care you receive. So, my advice to you reading Dr. Oogle in search of a dentist, seek no further, pick up the phone, call Lynn to set an appointment. You'll be in good hands!

I used to hate going to the dentist and would rather be stuck on the side of a volcano while it was erupting! After having Dr. Shannon and her staff work with me I actually have no fears at all about going to the dentist. Before I came to her, nearly all of my teeth had silver fillings. I told her that when I smiled it would scare little children if I even slightly opened my mouth! It probably didn't really scare them but I was so embarrassed about my teeth. Where do I even begin? Before becoming a patient of Dr. Griffin's, I 'd rather walk barefoot on hot molten lava than go to the dentist. Now, truly I look forward to seeing her & her terrific staff! She did 2 crowns, zoom bleaching on bottom and 8 veneers on top including bridge replacement. I was quite anxious before treatment began as I've had LOTS of prior dental work after mouth trauma at age 9. She & her attentive staff listened to my concerns & completely reassured me. When I walk in her office, I feel like I'm seeing old friends. Highly professional, cutting edge techniques. I almost passed out when she called me at night to check on me after my 1st procedure!!! That was definitely a 1st for me! To sum it up, Dr. Griffin, Dr. Reed and entire staff are amazing!! I've told everyone I know how terrific they are. I am like a 5yr old when it comes to dentists! I had a really scary dental experience when I was 12 that left me putting off any dentist visit until I turned 35. I spent weeks looking for the right doctor, Dr. Griffin was it! I came to her with no dental treatment for 23 years, 5 broken teeth and a mouth full of metal I wanted replaced with composite fillings. I had two of my crowns done today! They mill the crowns on site so after she filled on side of my lowers (yes, half of my jaw! in under 2hrs! and still quality work!!) Dr.Griffin designed my crowns on an auto-cad style machine, the crowns were milled while I slept and the procedure was finished! I had several fillings and two crowns. I went in at 8:30am and out by around 11:30am. She is incredibly personable and far better than the stories one of my friends who was also having a crown done someplace else was telling! If your a time pressed scaredy cat like myself, you simply wont find a more compassionate friendly Doctor of DDS in Oklahoma City. This facility is first rate, the equipment is top of the line and the office staff of Griffin and Reed is one of the most professional friendly I have encountered at any health care office! You wont be disappointed!!

Going to the dentist is definitely not one of my favorite things to do. However, Dr. Griffin and her staff make this experience very pleasant no matter what the procedure may entail. Choosing Dr. Shannon Griffin is a choice to avoid the typical dentist experience that most of us dread. At her office they will treat you like a VIP. That includes getting to know your name and making certain they properly address all dental problems you may have, including any anxiety of the procedures. All personnel at her office are caring individuals. If you are like me, you will begin to think of Dr. Griffin and her staff as extended family. But the ultimate reason I keep returning to Dr. Griffin's office is they do excellent work and get it right the first time. So if you are looking for a dentist that has up-to-date, clean facilities and gets the work done in an efficient and caring manner, Dr. Griffin is an excellent choice. Also, if you are tired of experiencing gum pain while the dental hygienist cleans your teeth, Dr. Griffin hires only the best hygienists at her office. Since choosing Dr. Griffin's office I quit inventing excuses to avoid getting my teeth cleaned.

Dr. Griffin and her staff provide an extremely comfortable atmosphere. They are professional, welcoming and downright fun. Aside from providing excellent dental care, she shows true care and conern for her patients. You can expect a call from her later in the day to check up on you ("how are you feeling?" and so on.) My family and I wouldn't consider another dentist.
